In the afernoon, a panga ride and snorkeling around the Kicker Rock (Leon Dormido) known as the Sleeping Lion because of its resemblance, this site is located of the coast of San Cristobal. The remains of a lava cone eroded by the sea, two vertical rocks rising 500 feet above the ocean, form a small channel that is navigable by small boats. This Galapagos Islands natural monument has become a favorite sight for cruises due to the many tropicbirds, frigatebirds and boobies that fill the surrounding air. Beneath the sea the crystal waters offer a brilliant show of colorful tropical fish and invertebrates.

After landing, you can walk across a lovely white sand beach amongst a busy sea lion colony or dive into the water to swim with sea lion pups. It is the breeding site of nearly all of the world´s 12,000 pairs of Waved Albatrosses. In the afernoon, we will visit Suarez Point on a trail where you will have the chance to see Blue-footed Boobie, albatrosses and Nazca Boobies. We will also visit a beautiful site on the ocean front where there is a clif that the large albatrosses use as a launching pad! You’ll have the chance to see the famous blowhole that spurts water into the air. The landscape is great for photography.

Your guide will tell you about the murder and mystery in this island's history. Suffice to say, it was once inhabited by an indulgent Baroness and her three lovers. There are easy trails in this area for exploring the flora and fauna of Floreana. In the afernoon, we will head to Cormorant Point. Here you will enjoy a hike to a salt-water lagoon which is home to flamingoes. You will Galapagos Islands. Then we will visit the famous Post Office Bay. You will land on a beach and head to a spot where 18th century whalers placed a wooden barrel for use as an unofficial mail box. The custom continues to this day with Galapagos visitors. So, don´t forget your postcards, and don´t be surprised if the post card arrives to its destination before you even get home!

We suggest you take things slowly today in order to acclimatize to Cusco's altitude, so after your short afternoon excursion you'll be taken back to your hotel to relax. Your Cusco tour will begin with a visit to the impressive colonial cathedral, followed by a guided tour of the Korikancha (Temple of the Sun). Later to the outskirts of Cusco for a tour of the Inca ruins of Sacsayhuaman. After your short afternoon excursion you'll be taken back to your hotel to relax for the evening.

Today your Peru tour guide will meet you at your hotel in Cusco for your full day visit through the Sacred Valley of the Inca. Your first stop is visiting the local market in a small village of Pisac. After lunch you'll spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the impressive Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo town and ceremonial center, an important archeological site and an Inca stronghold during the Spanish conquest. After a full day of exploration, the evening will be spent at one of our boutique lodges in the Sacred Valley.

After breakfast you will be picked up for your transfer to the train station for your journey to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes you will start with a guided tour of the ruins, in which you will learn all about the origins of this archeological wonder with some free time to explore on your own. Lunch can be taken either before or after your excursion, transportation is provided to your hotel where you can spend the evening at your leisure.

Today you may wish to return to the Machu Picchu ruins for sunrise. Keep in mind that the second entrance to Machu Picchu can be purchased in advance. For those looking for a spectacular aerial view of the ruins, we recommend a short hike to Wayna Picchu (2 departures daily and only 400 visitors per day). It requires approximately four hours to complete, and allows for spectacular views of Machu Picchu and the surrounding area from above. Your return train through the Sacred Valley of the Incas to Cusco will depart in the afternoon and arrive just after sundown.
