Sacsayhuaman translates into “ Speckled Falcon” or “Speckled Head” referring to the belief that Cusco City was set out in the shape of a Puma whose head was Sacsayhuaman. Origins of this breathtaking  fortress are uncertain and is generally attributed to the great Inca Pachacutec “The World Transformer".

Fly from Lima
After breakfast you will be collected from you hotel and delivered to Lima’s airport where you will board a flight for Ica. In Ica you will transfer to a small Cessna and take off for your flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines. Following your Nazca Lines flight you will return to Ica where you will be taken on a guided tour of the Regional Museum of Ica and the Oasis of Huacachina. After enjoying a delicious lunch you will be given the afternoon free to spend hanging around a private swimming pool. In the evening you will be transported back to the airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival in Lima you will be transferred back to your hotel.
