Búzios - The small fishing village of Búzios began its transformation into one of Brazil's premier holiday destinations in the 1960s when Brigitte Bardot discovered its charms and made it her second home.  Being only a two hour drive along the coast from Rio de Janeiro, it quickly became a popular escape from the city. Regularly voted amongst the top ten most beautiful places on the planet, Búzios is a sophisticated beach town with tranquil stretches of golden sand, fabulous restaurants and bars and stylish boutiques. Situated on a small peninsula, Búzios is blessed with no less than twenty-five beautiful beaches, ranging from small and secluded to long and expansive. Every beach is washed by the cool, clear waters of the Atlantic and basks under almost perpetually blue skies. Búzios’ winding cobblestone streets and picturesque harbor have lost none of their charm over the years.

Don’t miss…

The beaches - From sheltered coves to crashing Atlantic shorelines, with around twenty-five beaches to choose from in Búzios, everyone is sure to find their perfect stretch of sand.

Boat trips – With green forested hills contrasting dramatically with azure skies and golden sands, the views of Búzios from the sea are magnificent. Boat-trips take visitors to tiny tropical islands dotted around the bay.
